Historique :	Après la destruction partielle de l'abbaye cistercienne du Val-Richer, à la Révolution, les objets qu'elle contenait ont été dispersés dans les églises aux alentours de Cambremer, en général à la suite d'un don. La provenance du Val-Richer est attestée par un article de 1869. Le décor de bouquets de fleurs exotiques est mêlé de jonques. Ce ne serait pas un remploi mais une production d'atelier lyonnais de la seconde moitié du XVIIIe siècle. On peut ainsi rapprocher cet ensemble de l'oeuvre du dessinateur pour textiles Jean Revel, à Lyon.
