promouvoir la famille, communauté de vie et d'amour, le mariage, l'ouverture à l'accueil de la vie et à son respect, l'éducation de ses membres et la responsabilité éducative des parents, sa participation à la vie social ; étudier, affirmer et mettre en oeuvre la doctrine familiale et sociale de l'Eglise catholique :la faire connaître, aider les familles à en vivre, agir pour sa mise en application dans la société ; promouvoir les droits des familles, tels qu'ils sont définis par la charte des droits de la famille du Saint-Siège en 1983, et, en référence à la déclaration universelle des droits de l'homme en 1948, défendre les intérêts spirituels, moraux et matériels de l'ensemble des familles ; représenter les intérêts familiaux dont elle assume la charge directement auprès des Pouvoirs Publics conformément aux dispositions du Code de l'Action Sociale et des Familles et par l'intermédiaire de l'U.D.A.F. ; coopérer au fonctionnement de l'UDAF
