promouvoir l'ukulélé et sa pratique sous toutes ses formes; pour faire découvrir l'instrument et son répertoire, l'U S C de Picardie se donne les moyens suivants : organiser seule ou en participation avec tous tiers ou société, en France ou à l'étranger, des manifestations artistiques conformes à son objet (concerts, master class, expositions, animations, voyages, etc.) proposer un lieu d'échange et de mutualisation des pratiques, des savoirs et des supports concernant cet instrument et sa personnalisation (actualité, discographie, bibliographie, lutherie, création artistique, etc.) dont un des vecteurs sera un site internet et une liste de diffusion; éditer tous ouvrages, catalogues, revues, publications et supports sonores ou visuels conformes à son objet; donner un enseignement permettant la pratique de l'instrument à travers une école de musique, des interventions en milieu scolaire, des master-classes, des cours particuliers ou tout autre média pédagogique conformes à son objet, en France ou à l'étranger; promouvoir les productions et les prestations de ses membres, créer un ou plusieurs ensembles instrumentaux constitués principalement d'ukulélés dont l'objectif est de se produire en spectacles; la dénomination générique de cet ensemble est l'Ukulélé String Band (U.S.B)
