G.E.M. se définit comme un espace convivial accessible où des personnes peuvent se retrouver pour mettre en oeuvre un même projet de solidarité et d'entraide mutuelle, visant à lutter contre l'isolement, à recréer des liens sociaux et conviviaux entre les adhérents dont la fragilité psychique a mis en difficulté d'insertion sociale et professionnelle ; les objectifs sont donc bien : l'entraide entre les adhérents, l'écoute, le partage de savoirs et de savoirs faire, l'échange d'idées ; la responsabilisation et l'autonomie ; la création de liens et partenariats avec l'environnement ; participer à l'insertion socio-professionnelle ; la mise en place d'actions de solidarité auprès des adhérents
